UltimatePlayer is a local music player for Windows. The short version: we don't collect anything.
- No accounts, telemetry, analytics or ads. The app sends no data to the developer.
- Your music stays where it is. UltimatePlayer reads the files in the folders and drives you add. It never uploads them or copies them anywhere else.
- Local storage. The library (songs, tags, playlists, play counts and when each song last played), settings, the cover art cache and error logs are kept in the app's private folder on your PC.
- Internet access. The app only uses the network through Microsoft Store, to check or buy UltimatePlayer Pro. That is covered by the Microsoft privacy statement. Purchases belong to your Microsoft account; we never receive your payment details.
- Your files change only when you ask. The tag editor writes to a file only when you save your changes.
- Optional Windows features. The system media controls show the current song. Song notifications, RGB lighting (Dynamic Lighting) and starting with Windows are only on if you turn them on in Settings. All of it happens on your PC.
- Deleting your data. Uninstalling the app removes its data folder. Your music files are not touched.
